Last weekend my sister got married!
I was able to snap some pictures with my camera before the wedding…
There was lots of primping….
…and Jenga playing!
Lot’s of picture snapping…
…and more pictures with Mom & Dad.
When the professional photographer got there, I put my camera away. I figured it breaks some kind of “photography code” to be snapping pictures at the same time as the actual photographer…
Until we got to the church, and it was time to put on Miss L’s flower girl dress.
Then the code was broken, and the camera came back out!
I love the look on her face. If I could guess what she’s thinking, it would go something like this,
“I am so cute, and I know it. I’m going to ROCK this flower girl gig today…”
For the record…she only half-rocked the gig. She made it down the aisle with me, then threw a mini-fit when I tried to hand her off to Mr. Hoff. Luckily he got her out of there before my sister came down the aisle.
I think everyone, but me, thought it was funny.
I love this one.
It will be framed in my house by the end of the week.
Does anyone with hair styling skills want to volunteer to come to my house every morning and make my hair look like this???
I didn’t get a single shot of my sister in her dress. I was so busy trying to keep Miss L out of tissue boxes, bags, and the cabinets, that I didn’t get a chance to snatch up my camera and take pics….*sigh*.

I PROMISE I will do a much better job describing the DIY wedding projects, color scheme, etc. when I get some good photos from the photographer!
{We made sure to really emphasize how important it was to get some good table shots before the guests sat down…I explained that I had a blog, but I don’t think it got me anywhere…ha!}
I’m still recouping from the last few weekends of getting ready for this big day!
It was a gorgeous wedding, a perfect day, I didn’t screw up my speech, and my sister is a happily married lady…what a success!
