A black and white photo can capture something special.
A personality, a quiet moment, pure joy…
A black and white image feels more emotional and raw.
They feel like moments captured in time.
Here are some of my tips for capturing great black and white images:
#1 Great light is key.
{Turn your ISO down as low as possible to reduce “noise.”}
#2 Look for texture.
{Textured backdrops look way cool in black and white!}
#3 High-contrast works best!
{Look for locations that would look great in a high-contrast black and white. Change your point of view to get the best angle with the highest contrast!}
What are your tricks for great black and whites?
