Well, I’m all settled in at my “new blog home”.
How are you liking the new site? Do you love it as much as I do? I hope so!
I was asked to take part in this super-fun Patriotic Blog Hop with 30 fabulous bloggers, but there was a catch!
We were asked to come up with a patriotic summer project that DOESÂ NOT incorporate the traditional red, white, and blue color scheme….How fun, right?
Starting two weeks ago and running through July 4th, more than 30 projects will be shared on some of the most awesome blogs around. I can’t wait to see all of the inspirational projects and hope YOU will find some inspiration as well.
I came up with this vintage-inspired patriotic vignette, and I think it’s perfect for this challenge!
What could be more patriotic then an old transistor radio?
What could be more patriotic than a vintage Kodak camera?
What could be more patriotic than wild flowers picked from an Indiana country-side?
Yes, I’d say this vignette is quite patriotic without being obvious. {Doesn’t my new chair look so happy with herself?}
I love this vignette so much, I think I’m going to have to go pick wild flowers every day to keep it looking fresh!
Now, before you head out, be sure to check out the AMAZING projects that were shared the last two weeks AND be sure to enter for your chance to win a $310 Target Gift Card by using the Rafflecopter at the end of the post!

So pretty, April! I love the way you arranged the flowers to look tall and airy. AND, going vintage with your patriotic decor is such a stylish twist. I’m in love with everything <3.

Thanks, Amy! Those flowers were kind of hard to arrange, so I appreciate the positive feedback! đ
