Take a look at how I spray painted this summer wicker planter.
Happy 4th of July Eve!
Do you have some fun plans for tomorrow? I see some pool-time, lake-time, and fireworks in our 4th of July forecast!
The garage sales have been AMAZING this summer, and I’m excited to share this spray-painted summer planter with you today.
I found this super-cool wicker planter at an amazing garage sale the other week and loved how tall it was. I knew that it could add some instant character to my front porch…which was looking pretty bare!
I gave it a two quick coats of Krylon’s “Bright Idea” spray paint, and planted some pretty, pink petunias in it. The flowers flow right over the top of the planter and spill out. So pretty!
Yep, this little summer planter is just what my front porch needed! I love the way it looks with my blue front door!
I’m on a summer planter role around here! Check out my repurposed summer planters here.
Let’s see what my Get Your DIY On Co-Hosts came up with for our DIY Summer Fun theme:
You had such amazing vision with this one, April. It turned out adorably and who would have known – such a great colorful change!!
Very fun and fresh, April! Perfect summer touch for your front porch! Oh and about that forecast? We are expecting a hurricane! Southeastern most tip of VA…that’s me! LOL, at least we’ll still be spending quality family time together. Enjoy your holiday weekend and can’t wait to see you at Haven! XO
I love how this turned out, April! The pink petunias look perfect in the planter. And they will continue to grow and spill out of the planter all summer long 🙂 Hope you have a nice 4th of July weekend!
