Happy Friday, friends! We made it to the end of a cold, snowy week here in Indiana, and I am feeling so done with winter! Are you with me?! Today, I am joining a fabulous group of bloggers, hosted by Bre from Rooms for Rent, as we share our spring-inspired tablescapes! Creating tablescapes is one of my very favorite parts of decorating my home. I love to switch up our tabletop and create mini masterpieces on top of it…ha!
Bright Spring Dinner Room and Tablescape
This spring tablescape really began and centers around this potted fern plant. It’s green, it’s leafy, and it just looks like spring in a pot, doesn’t it?
I placed the fern (as evidenced in the photo above…haha!) on some blue antique books. I use antique books all over my house to add color, height, and texture to vignettes, and my tabletop is no different.
Next, I added brass terrariums to either side of the fern and filled them with whimsical fairy lights.
It’s really a pretty simple arrangement in the center of my table. ๐
I wanted to create something special and unique for each place setting. Something cute and springy…
…so I placed a little faux egg inside a leafy napkin ring, and the result is this adorable little nested egg resting on the striped napkin. Both the eggs and the napkin rings are from Hobby Lobby.
Because I have been asked this before, and I know some of you will probably be wondering, the battery packs for the fairy lights are just hidden behind the terrariums.
I always try to make sure that the shelves behind my table tie into the tabletop itself. I used copper utensil holders and artificial grassย to pull some metallic and green plant elements.
And that’s really it for my spring tablescape! Thank you so much for stopping by! My dining room sources can be found below. Affiliate links are used.
