Hi!
How are you?
Did you have a good weekend?
I did!

We spent the weekend in Northern Michigan at Torch Lake…it. was. amazing.
My friend’s in-laws handed them the keys to their fabulous place on the lake, and told them to invite up some friends…lucky us!
I wanted to give them a gift to thank them for letting us come up and stay at their place. I wanted something beachy, and I’ve been toying with the idea of a seashell monogram for awhile. I figured this was the perfect reason to make one!:)

1. I gathered my supplies. The frame is from Kohl’s, the seashells were purchased at JoAnn, the burlap can be purchased in 12″x12″ sheets at Michael’s. I cut the Cs from a medium stock paper using my silhouette.
2. I arranged, then rearranged, then rearranged the shells until I got them just how I wanted them. Using the glue gun, I secured them to the C.
3. I cut the burlap to size, using the glass as a template. Next, using hot glue, I glued the burlap to the glass.
4. {Not pictured} I hot glued the shell monogram to the burlap and put it in the frame!

Cute, no?
Here are some pictures of our weekend! Our friends have a sweet baby girl who is one year younger than Miss L. It was funny for us to watch these two girls interact with each other. I think Miss L already misses having her little buddy around. 😉

We had such a great time!
Have a great day!
Oh I love it! I am pinning this and definitely doing it later! Found you at Rain On A Tin Roof.
Thanks, Elizabeth! 🙂
Oh what fun!!! Looks like a good time had by all!
Awwww yeah! Missed you though!:)
So cute, April! I wouldn’t have thought to glue the burlap to the glass, but that secures it perfectly. Thanks for linking up to Give Me the Goods!
