Taking my niece’s senior pictures was easy.
She isn’t really capable of taking a bad photo.
Like, not even one bad photo.
We walked around her family’s yard at twilight.
As we chatted and took pictures, I found myself marveling at how much she’s grown up in the last few years.
I remember her as a three or four year old in a princess Halloween costume.
I remember her dancing to a very memorable Mary Poppins song at one of her dance recitals.
I remember painting butterflies and bumblebees on her little fingernails…(and on her little brother’s fingernails too! Ha!)
Yes, she has grown up to be a smart, funny, and, obviously, beautiful young lady.
