Here is a fun toddler craft to keep the kids busy, especially when the fall weather is dreary!
Last Saturday Miss L was in a bit of a mood.
Proof:
{Just insert the whiny noise of your choice here.}
I was feeling annoyed desperate creative, so I decided to try my luck at cheering her up and entertaining her with a fun fall craft….Might work, right?
1. I taped down a large piece of craft paper and drew a large tree with a white crayon.
2. I made a palette for the artist using some washable finger paint.
3. I lured Miss Grumpy Gills over with promises of painting and “a craft”. She didn’t agree with my opinion of where the leaves should go…And who was I to argue?
4. After she was finished, I added some finger paint leaves…can you tell whose leaves are whose? 😉
I thought the painted tree could use a little more intense color and interest, so I added some colorful scrapbook paper circles to the tree. Voila! This fall craft worked!
I stapled our artwork to the back of this window frame that I nabbed at a garage sale last summer.
Did my craft cheer Miss L up?
No. Not really.
But after some lunch and a nap, she was much better!
Is her whole second year going to be like this?! Heeeeelp!
Have a great day! 🙂

This cracks me up. Miss H has had a few recent “days” as well. It must be the pressure of turning two.
April Hoff says
They just crack under the pressure, don’t they?! Glad L isn’t the only one!
