This simple heart & arrow Valentine wreath will elevate your home decor!
I wanted to keep it pretty simple with my Valentine décor this year.
{I never really go overboard with this holiday…it’s fun to decorate for, but who really has time to deck the house out for V-day?}
One of my favorite decorations I made was this rustic Heart & Arrow Valentine Wreath!
Here’s what I used:
This wreath was surprisingly simple and quick!
1. I cut some even smaller sprigs off of the “Spring Sprigs” from Michael’s.
2. I cut my long pieces of floral wire in half, then bent it in half.
3. To attach the sprigs to the wreath, I just kind of wiggled the bent wire into the wreath, securing the sprigs, until it poked through the back. I twisted the two pieces together on the back side of the wreath.
4. A close-up to show you how the wire is securing the sprigs to the wreath.
5. A look at the wreath with all of the sprigs attached.
6. I attached a bunch of ribbon to the back of the wreath and made kind of a top-knot with all of the ribbon flowing over. I also attached a scrapbook paper arrow to the front of the wreath using some clips that I hot-glued to the back of the arrow.
Doesn’t it look cute on my mantel?
I sure do love that old window grate! It makes a perfect backdrop for the wreath!
One more shot of the finished mantel!
