(and believe me, I’ve tried)
I’m going to decorate my house for spring, and just pretend it’s here.
I really am loving the way my springy mantel came together!

Before I let you off the hook, I have to show my baby off.
Miss L. is 2 years and 4 months old.
Here is some of the cuteness that is coming out of her mouth lately:
“I want man on the horse!” = I want to watch Oklahoma! {she loooooves that musical. Ha!}
“Awww. I love you so much. Are you happy?” {Talking to her snowman in the backseat of the car.}
“Oh! I forgot!” {She’ll say this and run out of the room anytime she’s trying to get out of something.}
“We gotta send that to daddy!” {Whenever she thinks something is cute or funny, she thinks I should take a picture of it on my phone and “send it to daddy”.}
The other day I asked her what she likes, she said:
“I like my dresses, I like puzzles, and I like pouring water.”
Oh. She also told me, “I’m not a baby, I’m a little girl, mom.” 🙁
She really is growing up to be a sweet, funny, and spirited “little girl.”

So many things to love about this post. First, Miss L is just too darling!! I love that she likes pouring water – that’s so cute and I think my little one can relate to that pastime. She loves pouring water right over the side of the bathtub 😉 I just love your mantel, I always love them – the chalkboard art is beautiful!

Your local high school is putting on Oklahoma March 21, 22, and 23 if you want to expose Miss “L” to live theater inexpensively. If she get’s fussy, you could leave and not feel like you’ve wasted a lot of money. We know the gal playing Aunt Eller–she’ll do a great job. And the young man playing Curly has a great voice. Fun!!
You know, we read that in the newspaper, and are seriously contemplating taking her. I’m nervous though…she’s so unpredictable in public places! Ha! Thanks, Sally! 🙂
