Painting furniture is one of my favorite home projects to tackle.
It takes very little time.
You instantly feel satisfied and see a difference.
Oh! And it’s cheap!
I’m loving my latest project, a little two-toned table!
Here is how she looked when I got her {for free!} from a neighbor’s basement!
I decided to make a few changes to this dry sink. I really like dry sinks and their bars, but when I got it home, I realized that the towel bar looked “too country” in my house. The style really didn’t flow with my other furniture. First, I removed her towel bar and cabinet doors.
Next, I used my Country Chic Paint, in Vanilla Frosting to paint the sides, front, and inside of this little beauty. It took two coats to completely cover the table.
Country Chic Paint is so easy to use! I hardly did any prep work on this little table! Also, it dries really quickly! {Miss L sauntered into the laundry room and touched this table after only 30 minutes of dry time. No worries! The paint was already dry! Whew!}
Oh! And Country Chic Paint is VOC FREE and basically odorless!
I painted this table in our laundry room and didn’t smell anything!
I love the contrast between the table top and drawers and the white paint!
This piece is so different than anything I’ve done before!
I love to accessorize a newly painted piece! So satisfying!
I found the wire basket at a local antique store for $11! Score!
🙂
Let’s see what my $30 Thursday buddies came up with this month!
