This year I decided to put some holiday decor in the master bedroom, and now it looks very festive!
To decorate or not decorate the master bedroom for the holidays…That was the question. 😉
I spent last weekend hustling around the house finalizing my holiday decorating details. I wanted to get my holiday home tour completely photographed before Thanksgiving, and I found myself with an extra garland and wreath on hand. I was about to pack them away, but then it occurred to me that I’ve never really decorated the master bedroom for the holidays….hmmmmmm.
It made total sense to me to decorate the bedroom. It’s the last place I hang out before going to bed (usually up late editing photos or typing blog posts), and why shouldn’t it be a little spruced up for the holidays?
It took me about five minutes, and the decorating is simple, but I’m pretty much in love with my holiday decor in the master bedroom!
Enjoy! 😉
So, what do you think?

Have a great Thanksgiving! I’ll be back next week raring to go for the official holiday decorating season! Woohoooooo!
Love your bedroom! Can I ask where the wooden try on your bed is from?
Sorry I meant “tray”
Thank you, Jess! It is from Wayfair.com. It comes in a set of two! 😉
I have been decorating my master bedroom for years. I put a tree up with antique ladies hats on instead of ornaments. I add lace hand gloves, pearls and on the top of the tree I put a mans top hat. I recently received some small ornaments that are high heels that I have been adding also. Pretty at night!
That sounds so cute and unique, Susie! 🙂
I just love all your cozy ideas. The colors are perfect, just enough holiday, but beautiful every day! xxx..
Thank you so much, Brooke! 🙂
Oh it looks so good! Great job! I have never decorated my bedroom!

It looks lovely. And you just gave me a great idea, because I too have left over garland. My husband will die. All is beautiful! !
