Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend!
As you can see, I sure did:
My two best buddies and I celebrated our 30th Birthdays in style with a shared birthday party! We were all born within a month of each other, (in the same small town, in the SAME hospital…seriously).
Annette (far left) and my parents took Lamaze class together. Laura’s mom and my dad worked together while she was pregnant with Laura and my mom was preggers with me…They’d compare notes and take bets over who’s kid would turn out better…(ok, I made that last part up). Obviously all three of us turned out to be pretty flippin’ cool.
Here are some vintage classics of my buddies and I. (I can’t believe I’m showing you these.)
What do best buddies do together after they’ve played with all of their toys? Take a bubble bath (duh). Laura’s house was so cool. The bathtub was literally in the floor.
Senior year prom. Annette looks so timeless and classic. I look so….Dixie Chick-esque. I loved my short, flippy hair so much. You can’t see it, but my dress was backless, and I had a tiny rhinestone butterfly on my back….classy. And I think I had rhinestones glued into my hair…OMG.
Aaaand then there is my 27 year-old sister who pretended to be 30 all night. She was fishing for the, “Wow, you look great for 30!” compliments. Nerd.
Here is a vintage classic pic of the two of us:
Blue background. Bangs. Matching outfits (that our mom made). Classic.
These three girls are among my favorites! They were my bridesmaids and the first three to tell I was pregnant (well, besides Mr. Hoff). I know I can say or do (almost) anything without any judgment. I can just be me. (For the record, we have a few more friends from high school that I love very much too!)
Have a great day! 🙂
