I will show you how to dress up a throw pillow for the holidays instead of buying a new one!
It’s no secret that throw pillows are my favorite cozy home accessory.
I love them. I love them so much.
I wanted to add some new decorative custom throw pillows into the mix for my holiday decor this year, but I only have so many dollars to spend on holiday decorating. So, I did what any girl on a budget would do…I went the cheap route.
…and by cheap I mean super-classy {and inexpensive.} 😉
….and by inexpensive, I mean like REALLY inexpensive. I bought the Decorative Throw Pillow Cover at Hobby Lobby with my 40% of coupon, so I spent $6 on it. The decorative ribbon was 50% off, so I spent $5 on it….
$6 + $5 = $11.
{I may be a reading teacher, but I can do math…kind of.}
I just stuck a throw pillow that I already had into the neutral throw pillow cover. I tied a pretty bow with my decorative ribbon and stuck some red berries into it! SO easy!
Easy. Cheap. And classy. That’s how I like it. For more great decorating ideas check out Beachy Christmas Decor with Minted
Let’s see what my $30 Thursday friends came up with this month:
I feel like I could stick one of Jen’s Ornament Topiaries just about anywhere in my house! What a perfect holiday decoration!
Fuzzy Throws are all the rage in home decor right now…I can’t wait to click over and find out how Shayna made this DIY Fluffy Blanket!
Whew! It’s been crazy-busy on the blog this week! I’ll be wrapping it up tomorrow with a hand-made ornament idea!
Have a great day!

This is a great little project. Pillows can add so much to a room, I love them too! And I think this time of year, quick and inexpensive projects are the best kind! =)
