Christmas Nights Tour 2016

Hello, dear friends! It’s so hard to believe that Christmas is mere days away. It would be hard to pinpoint exactly what it is that makes this time of year so magical. The birthof Jesus, the snow falling from the sky and blanketing the ground, and the anticipation that our little ones feel for Santa are all enhanced by the twinkling lights decorating our homes and trees.

The twinkling lights set the perfect backdrop for the magic of Christmas, don’t you think?

I’m so honored and excited to be back as part of the Christmas Nights Tour hosted by  the sweet and very talented Rachel, from Maison De Pax. If you are stopping by from Sunny Side Up, welcome! I’m so glad you are here, and I hope you’ll come back often!

Our living room is the heart of our Christmas home. We have spent the last few nights snuggled up on the couch in front of our twinkling tree and mantel watching movies. My little family of three is especially precious to me these days, and I’m so happy to be in this spot with them. There’s truly no other place I’d rather be. They’re so good for my soul. 🙂

My sweet five-year-old daughter is learning to write, and that is so exciting to me. Just seeing her handwritten note for Santa gives me goosebumps.

Our dining room is one of my favorite spots to decorate, especially for the holidays.

I added a few fairy lights to my open-shelving, and I love how they look sparkling in the blue glass.

Do you add lights to your centerpieces? It’s one of my new favorite things to do. It’s a bit unexpected and fun.

And finally, our console table. It’s one of my favorite holiday vignettes in the house.
