This Halloween tablescape was lots of fun to put together!
It seems like I decorate for Halloween a little differently than other holidays: in small bits at a time. I’ll bring up a few decor items from the basement. A few days later I’ll grab something else, and on and on it goes. My dining room table was one of the first places I decorated for Halloween by adding just a few simple touches to my colorful fall tablescape.
I actually did a simple DIY tutorial on these DIY Creepy Halloween Floral Arrangements a few weeks ago. I really just added some skeleton heads, spiders, and fake spider webs (all from Michael’s) to the pretty fall flower arrangements.
This fun tabletop is just the right amount of creepy for our house…and my six-year-old. She loves creepy and scary things as long as they’re not too creepy!’
I’m really in love with the velvet pumpkins. They add such a fun texture and color to the tabletop!
I found these little terrariums last year at TJ Maxx, but hadn’t found a way to use them. I really liked the simplicity of one skeleton head in each terrarium for each place setting.
I feel like I should cook up a hot stew and mummy-dogs for a good little Halloween feast. 😉

Oh i do love it all. The velvet pumpkins are so pretty and then the skulls mixed in with your floral arrangements are so unexpected and fun. Great Halloween table.

Just absolutely gorgeous as usual April! I love the colors you have chosen. The floral centerpieces with skulls are just so what I call “elegantly eerie,” or “hauntingly beautiful!” I would love for you to share with us at the Hauntingly Beautiful Decor link party too! The party is live every Sat.-Wed. in October.
