I have just finished decorating my front stoop for fall and I love how bright and vibrant it turned out!
The front stoop is all dressed up and looking cute for fall! I kept it pretty simple but colorful and I am just trying to keep my mums alive as long as possible. That’s always the goal, am I right?! I never realized that you could over-water mums (frankly, I usually have the opposite problem when I’m trying to keep my plants alive) but the mums on my back deck have all died due to over-watering with all of the rain we’ve had. Oh, the delicate balance of keeping a mum happy. 😉
I’m really loving all of the colorful autumn flowers on my front porch this fall. They look so pretty and vibrant with my blue front door. Sadly, the wood around our front door is in bad shape, and we’re putting in a new front door in a few weeks. I’ll miss my blue front door, but I’m excited to get something new and updated.
These really cute seagrass baskets make the perfect outdoor planters for the colorful fall flowers, don’t they? I lined the baskets with plastic before placing the plants inside. I just love how they look on the front stoop!
I added some fake lamb’s ear sprigs to a the little jack-o-lantern planter. I figured this front stoop could also work for Halloween if I stuck him out there. 😉
I still love my galvanized planters. When you have a tiny front stoop like I have, you need to add dimension and interest with planters that give you some height. Plus they add contrasting style. They’re perfect for every season.
One of my favorite ways to add personality to my front stoop is with our cute door mats! There are so many fun options out there! I’ve linked to some of my favorites below.
The bold colors look so pretty! I don’t normally go for orange mums, but they look perfect especially with the deep purple!
That’s my simple fall front stoop this year! It’s amazing what some pretty plants and fun planters can do. 😉
Have a great day!
