In the craziness of this season, I crave a calm palette for my home. Today I’m sharing my easy and neutral fall home tour with you!
It feels so good to be back to blogging this fall! I find it very hard to balance my photography business (which is absolutely crazy-busy in the fall), being the best I can be for my family, and the blog. I’ll admit, the first thing I let slide is my dear blog. This continues to be such a happy space and creative outlet for me, and I hope I’ll find more time to dedicate to it after the craziness of fall dies down a bit. But enough about me. Let’s talk about my easy and neutral fall home tour!
Thank you so much to my dear friend, Krista, from the Happy Housie for not only organizing the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Home Tours, but also for inviting me to be. a part of it. These tours have given me a reason to get some fall posts together, and I really appreciate it!
So, let’s discuss the kitchen, which has just the tinies touches for fall. I did a complete kitchen makeover about four years ago, and I am (thankfully) still in love with it. I think I just remember how bad it was before, and it’s just so much better now…ha!
Our kitchen opens up into our dining area and table. Which we never eat at. Just saying.
We may never eat at this table, but I still like to make it look pretty. I recently purchased this gorgeous piece of abstract art called Norway Road from Lindsay Letters. I ADORE her work, and I’m so happy to finally have one of her pieces in my home. It’s the perfect neutral color palette and it fit in seamlessly with all of our decor and colors.
I have plans to replace the dining table in this evolving space. I’d like some new chairs too…you better believe I’ve been combing the internet for just the right table and chair combo!
I work at a darling boutique where we sell these hilarious tumblers. I like to sip a nice cold glass of “Self Care” at the end of each day. 😉
I kept my centerpiece the same from this summer, but added a few pumpkins to each side. Done and done!
Here is a closer look at the new artwork. I love it so much!
We’ll move along to the living room, which I shared last week, but since it’s a whole home tour, I’ll just share a few more pics!
This beautiful centerpiece is perfect for the coffee table, but I think it would also look great on a dining room table!
I kept the mantel super simple and clean.
The soft color palette is perfect for the serene mood I’m going for. I don’t know about you, but my anxiety always peeks in the fall. I attribute it to all of my photo sessions and just general business, but I need a calm and relaxing space to center myself.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I have the whole lineup for this week’s Seasonal Simplicity lineup below! Be sure to check out these amazing bloggers and their gorgeous homes!
