Happy Friday!
It happens to be a very happy Friday for me, because it’s my birthday and next week is my Spring Break!
{We’re not going anywhere, but just to have a week off work will be so nice!}
Speaking of spring, how about a cute spring craft tutorial?

Last week I shared my simple spring vignette.
The cute little vignette wouldn’t be complete without this cute little bunny sign.

My little sign started out as a welcome sign from Goodwill.
Since I didn’t really need a welcome sign, and I don’t really decorate with beehives, I decided to paint over the sign and give it a fresh, new look!

1. The original welcome sign just isn’t my style.
2. It took two coats of Country Chic’s chalk paint in Vanilla Frosting to cover up the original sign.
3. I used Country Chic’s paint in Pebble Beach and a dry brush technique to give this sign a distressed looked.
4. I make all of my sign stencils with my Silhouette Cameo and vinyl. I didn’t snap a picture of the bunny stencil, but you can see the arrow above.
5. I used some more Vanilla Frosting and the same dry-brush technique to stencil the bunny and arrow onto this sign.
6. Tada! The finished sign is perfect for spring, no?
Country Chic’s chalk paint was perfect for this sign!
I love how this paint coats and how easy it is to use for all kinds of projects!

I didn’t do any prep-work to the sign, I just started painting!
Love this paint!
Love this little vignette too! 🙂

Here are some of my other projects using Country Chic’s chalk paint:
