I’m going to start this post with a very funny Halloween joke that a student of mine told me earlier this week:
Q: ย What do ghosts serve for dessert?
A: I SCREAM!!!!
{I will pause now as you laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh.}
Ok. Now that we’ve all had our funny bones tickled, I’ll proceed with my welcome and Halloween Home Tour…
Hi! Welcome to our home! I’m so glad you’re here, and I’m so excited to share my tour with you today!
We’ll start with my living room:
So, actually, this is my Halloween mantel from last year…I just love it so much, and I think it deserves a victory lap this year, don’t you?
And now we’ll move on to my dining room, which really is from this year. I love to decorate and change up my ginormous window frame for the seasons. It just doesn’t get old.
My Boogie-Bones Garland made from vintage records is a big hit around here. My two-year old is in love with it, which makes me in love with it.
I have to giggle at the witch. I salvaged her from my mom’s garage sale a few years ago. I just couldn’t let anyone else have her.
My daughter’s Chalkboard Table and little play-area are getting decked out for the season too.
She is so excited for Halloween this year. It is so cute. She asks me EVERY day how many more days until Halloween.
The front of our home isn’t quite Halloween-ified, but it sure does look ready for the season, no?
See my tips for decorating a small front stoop for fall here.
