So, do you remember last fall when I blogged about the day Country Sampler Magazine came to our house to shoot it for their Autumn Decorating issue? It’s hard to believe, but the issue is now on newsstands!

Wow congratulations! You were my inspiration. We have just completed our kitchen and living room remodel and I used your color palate…I am SO in love with my house. Thank you for your blog I love reading and seeing the all the new ideas and decorating tips you share. One question, do you have any issues with the white grout lines on the backsplash?
Thank you so much, Laura! I’m so glad that you’ve been inspired by our home! I was very worried about using white grout, but the employees at The Tile Shop assured me that it would be easy to wipe down and keep clean. I am happy to report that I haven’t had a problem at all with keeping it clean. One thing to note is that when our back splash was first installed, they used grout where the tile and counter top meet…which began to crack a few months later. I had our tile guy come back, and he removed the grout along the counter top and used a tile caulk instead. It has much better for just along the line where the counter top and back splash meet. Hopefully that makes sense. 🙂 Thanks again for your sweet words!
