I love our newly decorated winter living room with a simle bright vibe!
If someone does not correct this cold, icy, snowy weather immediately, I might lose my mind. School keeps getting cancelled, and keeping my kid away from screens feels like a full-time job. We’ve made bath bombs, colored pictures, put together puzzles, made perler bead creations. We’ve done it all, guys. Today I’m going to focus on a brighter side of winter though, our winter living room. I love the way our bright and simple winter living room looks, so let’s check it out!
Bright and Simple Winter Living Room
Right after Christmas, I picked up this framed abstract wall art from Target. It is the perfect piece for above the decorated fireplace, and it ties in so perfectly with my deep teal pillows .
After the holidays, the house feels decidedly different. This year I embraced the clean and simple, “less is more” look for a post-holiday winter living room. I wanted pops of pretty teals and greens against the neutral walls, rugs, and couches.
I’ve been spending so much time in here the last few months. I broke my ankle on the day after Christmas, so these neutral couches have been home base!
This beautiful abstract art from Target really hit the nail on the head for what I wanted in my winter living room. I added some really simple accessories to accent the artwork, and I really love how it all looks together.
This clean cozy space is the perfect calming place to relax and watch the snow fall outside. 😉
I ended up getting rid of my old metal console table and bringing up this black media/console table from the basement. I bought this timeless piece right after we got married, and I love the way the plants and simple gold lamps look with my DIY Song Lyric Sign.
If you love this post, don’t forget to pin it for later! xo

Looks great with pops of color against the neutral! I love the couches. Can I ask where you purchased them? Spring is right around the corner:o)

Thank you, Lis! I purchased them at a local furniture, but if you do a google image search for “Robin Bruce Brooke Sofa K” you can find it. Hope this helps! xo
