A traditional home decorated for a Black and Gold Holiday Home Tour
Happy holidays, friends! My holiday decorating started a few weeks ago, and I finished up just in time to put this post together. Do you decorate in a day, or in little steps and stages? Most of my home is decorated for the holidays in golds and blacks. It has been fun to add new pieces in this simple and elegant color scheme in the living room and dining room.
Today I’m so happy to be joining the Seasonal Simplicity Holiday Home Tour hosted by my lovely and talented friend, Krista from The Happy Housie. If you are stopping by from Clean and Scentsible, welcome! The whole tour lineup can be found at the end of this post.
The holiday front stoop looks very similar to last year. I used the same pieces for a wintery holiday look that can take me through February! All the information on our four-pane front door can be found here.
Come on in! Our small foyer has a little holiday cheer!
The living room is ready for the holidays! I love the way our new rug picks up the blacks, browns, and neutrals of our black and gold holiday living room!
A little side table makes a great place to have a little holiday vignette and family photo!
The living room is always the most cozy during the holidays!
The tall and glamorous Ratan LED Trees are my favorite new accessory! The look perfect perched on each end of the mantel.
This simple and beautiful holiday artwork is from Lindsay Letters Co. holiday collection last year. She has a very similar piece this year too!
Here is a look of the whole room ready fro the holidays! I like how it isn’t fussy or overdone. It will take me very little time and effort to “undecorate” this year….except for the Christmas tree, that is always a process! 😉
My favorite Capri Blue Crystal Pine candle is always burning! It is the BEST winter smell.
The dining room continues the cold and black, but I have added a little more color here.
The little glass ball ornaments in a hurricane vase with a candle makes the perfect centerpiece.
I added these darling little accordion trees to each place setting as well!
Since capri blue candles are expensive, and the glitter jars are so pretty, I save the jars and place votives in them. Then I can reuse them over and over again! 😉
The dining room sideboard has a little holiday glam as well! I love the way the ornaments and the artwork play so well together!
Simple ornaments in a wood bowl. So easy! 🙂
One final shot looking into the kitchen…which is not decorated for the holidays at all…ha! 😉
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking our Black and Gold Holiday Home Tour! Be sure to stop by Rooms for Rent next! Bre’s home never fails to blow me away!
