Today I am sharing with you the painting our tired tiles received. The painting continues today! Everything is going great, but it is taking longer than expected. The hardest part is keeping Miss L and our dog out of the painter's way. We end up holed up in the master bedroom, which, I think I'm speaking for the three of us here, gets booooring. I think we're going to head up to one of my favorite antiquing towns in Michigan today to busy ourselves (not the dog, she's staying here). I want ... Read More about Painting Our Tired Tiles

Let’s Get it Started!!!!!
Project: Paint the House is beginning around here! I'm so excited, but, as you probably know, it gets ugly before it gets pretty. This is what my house looks like today:Yikes! Makin’ One Look Good!!!!
Miss L's "Vintage Cupcake" themed party couldn't have been sweeter! The party was a total success! Yarn Wrapped Birthday Wreath

I wrapped this Styrofoam wreath with yarn almost a year ago with intentions of making a nursery decoration out of it. It never made it to completion.By simply adding some tissue paper flowers and the wooden 1, it became a birthday wreath! I found the wooden 1 at Michael's and spray painted it "Blue Ocean Breeze" by ... Read More about Yarn Wrapped Birthday Wreath
Birthday Photo Shoot + Using Photos as Party Decor!
A few days ago I attempted my first photo shoot with a backdrop (that fabric from JoAnn that I was telling you about in this post), props (a cupcake headband and wooden number 1), and a walking baby. Whoo! Talk about crazy! My mom tried her best to help me, but getting Miss L to keep her darn headband on, look at the camera, and stay still was nearly impossible. I had two purposes for this photo shoot: 1) I wanted some cute pictures of my (almost) one year old all dressed up in her party ...
